cherry glazed / cherry smoked back ribs we made for Labor Day! We smoked them for about 2.5 hours over coals and wood and then finished them off on the gas grill with cherry glaze. You can do it the whole time in the smoker, of course, but sometimes if you like a glaze or sauce with a light crust, some high heat is helpful.
